Ok, lets talk about that. Ive stayed in the island a couple of years ago, and also in Jamaica, El Salvador, and some other countries of the area. Well, by far, Cuba was the best of them. And that was surprising for me, because before arriving there I only have the media vision of the situation. Also, they live better than a part of the population of United States, fallen in the misery (the suburbs of Miami, were emigrated Cubans live, are a little bit frightening)

Ok, they dont have Play Stations at home, and they cant drive expensive cars. But there, in Cuba, nobody is hungry (that was I saw with my own eyes). Compare that fact with other contries of the region, like Nicaragua, for example. And for Cubans, most of the problems arent a fault of their economic system, but of the American embargo. That could be true, remember: Spain suffered a embargo for a half dozen of years after WWII and our grandfathers died of famine.

So, Iam not saying that Cuba is great and the rest of the world is shit. Iam just remembering that not believing all the shit that media says. Nothing in this world is black or white. Remember that, mates. Dont be alienated!

Take it easy, mate. My message wasnt directed to you, dont take it personal. I just have telling the forum my experience (obviously, thats not the whole truth; I only could seen a little part of the whole reality). And all that I said was an ECONOMICAL analysis. I didnt mentioned liberties, freedom...

But acusing Cuba for having no liberties its totally hypocritical. That could be true, ok. But what about the neighbours? They are even worse in those things. Why nobody cares about? Think about it.
