Colours: Black and Green

1 time austrian cup winner (1998), 3 times Upper Austrian Champion, 2 times Upper Austrian Cup Winner, 2 time2 Winner of the second League

SV RIED is a club from the countryside – Upper Austria. From 1912 to 1949 only viennese clubs played for the austrian championship, so the other 8 states have theire own championships. Ried played there in the 1st and 2nd class very sucessful. As Ried is a small village (app. 12.000 inhabitants) they performed the youth football from the region RIED IM INNKREIS.

In the 90s the story of organized supporters groups and ultras started, 1995 with FANCLUB SCHWARZ-GRÜN (black green supporters club) and 1996 with SUPPORTERS ULTRAS (SUPRAS) RIED. Big rivals of Ried are both clubs from Linz (BLAU WEISS LINZ und LINZER ASK LINZ) and STURM GRAZ.
