HISTORY OF FENTAGIN 1980

In the early '80s when his team Atromitos made its presence felt in football events in the country's current generation of the forties Atromitaion most hardcore match with the Palestinians Fentagin and then the word began to sound at all stadiums Greece.

In Arabic the word means Fentagin fighter and almost every Arab country are such groups.
The presence of Fentagin was standing next to their favorite team and highly dynamic. Not hesitated to take even the management team in 1987 and even the show champion Third Division. Always crowded not hesitate to put them in any repudiate the idea, their religion, their neighborhood, this will never hate. In the early '90s basketball goes in A1 and Fentagin placed and sealed and are such crazy Peristeriotes followed the team everywhere and standing in the joys and sorrows.
The word was first released by the generation and the friends of Odysseus, the Katsu and the "frog" in the 80's.

Our aim was to follow both our teams everywhere with authenticity and selflessness and not ever erase this sacred to our idea.

Στην αρχή της δεκαετίας του ’80 όταν η ομάδα του Ατρομήτου έκανε αισθητή την παρουσία της στα ποδοσφαιρικά δρώμενα της χώρας η τωρινή γενιά των σαραντάρηδων Ατρομηταίων ταύτισε τους πιο σκληροπυρηνικούς με τους Παλαιστίνιους Fentagin και από τότε η λέξη αυτή άρχισε να ακούγεται σε όλα τα γήπεδα της Ελλάδας.

Στην αραβική γλώσσα η λέξη Fentagin σημαίνει μαχητής και σχεδόν σε κάθε αραβική χώρα υπάρχουν τέτοιες ομάδες.
Η παρουσία των Fentagin ήταν πάγια δίπλα στην αγαπημένη τους ομάδα και ιδιαίτερα δυναμική. Δεν δίστασαν να αναλάβουν ακόμα και την διοίκηση της ομάδας το 1987 και μάλιστα να την αναδείξουν πρωταθλήτρια στην Γ’ Εθνική. Πάντα πολυπληθείς δεν δίσταζαν να τα βάλουν με οποιονδήποτε αντιπαλεύοταν την ιδέα τους, την θρησκεία τους, την γειτονιά τους, αυτό που ποτέ δεν θα μισήσουν. Στις αρχές του ’90 το μπάσκετ ανεβαίνει στην Α1 και οι Fentagin μπαίνουν και στα κλειστά και είναι αυτοί οι τρελοί Περιστεριώτες που ακολουθούν την ομάδα παντού και της στέκονται στις χαρές και στις λύπες.
Η λέξη πρώτοκυκλοφόρησε από την γενιά και τις παρέες του Οδυσσέα , του Κατσού και του «βάτραχου» την δεκαετία του ΄80.
Στεγάστηκε όμως την επόμενη δεκαετία και συγκεκριμένα το 1994 με αφορμή τις πρώτες μεγάλες επιτυχίες του Γ.Σ.Π.
Η ιδέα έπεσε με το θρυλικό «να οργανωθούμε ρε παιδιά» από κάποιες άλλες παρέες και με πρωτοστάτες τον Ηλία , τον Στράτο , τον Λευτέρη , τον γκοτζίλα και τον αείμνηστο αδελφό του Νίκο , τον Νεκτάριο , τον Γκότση και πολλούς άλλους απο την Αγ.Τριάδα και τον Λόφο.Σε αυτήν την μεγάλη προσπάθεια συμμετείχαν και άλλες γειτονιές όπως η Πλ.Δέγλερη με τον Λαλάκη και με άλλους.
Τα πρώτα γραφεία φτιάχτηκαν στην γωνία των οδών Τζουμαγιάς και Μπιζανίου και η ανταπόκριση των Περιστεριωτών ήταν μαζικότατη.Το όνειρο όλων είχε γίνει πραγματικότητα και τα επόμενα χρόνια μέσα από τα γραφεία πέρασαν πολλοί που δεν «ξενέρωσαν» ούτε με ‘Δ Εθνική ούτε με Α2 και ακόμα αντέχουν .
Ο σκοπός μας ήταν και είναι να ακολουθούμε και τις δύο μας ομάδες παντού με αυθεντικότητα και ανιδιοτέλεια και να μην σβήσει ποτέ αυτή η ιερή για μας ιδέα.
Για να γίνει αυτό χρειάζονται θυσίες από αυτούς που ασχολούνται με τον σύνδεσμο και αυτοί με την σειρά τους χρειάζονται την αμέριστη στήριξη όλων μας.
Όλοι για έναν και ένας για όλους (όπως παλιά!!!)... και δεν έχουμε να φοβηθούμε τίποτα.
