Paving stones, barriers and dustbins threw: eight arrests after Charleroi-Eupen
Incidents opposed, one hour during, Charleroi supporters and police, Saturday evening, at the end of the Charleroi-Eupen game.
CHARLEROI - Eight arrests took place and two police officers were slightly wounded, said local police. The announced descent of local Sporting in 2nd division overheated supporters at the end of the game and a group wanted to move towards the main stand to reach local chairman. They were prevented by it by police officers, in particular reinforced by dog handlers and who had to use a water canon.
These supporters launched towards the police officers stones and dustbins, while turning over barriers. In the confrontation, two police officers were slightly wounded, and eights of these supporters were arrested.
