| This will basically be a topic dedicated to the First Macedonian league. So far, Shkendija is first and Renova is second. Because our president gets a lot of money from those Albanians, two Albanian teams hold the first two positions, and last year because of him Renova became champion! So far the fixtures are: 1) Shkendija 32 2) Renova 31 3) Rabotnichki 29 4) Metalurg 29 5) Turnovo 29 11) Vardar 10 12) Pelister 8 1 more round to be played, which in Rabotnichki plays to Metalurg away, the local Tetovo derby is going to be played between Renova and Teteks. Shkendija plays to Turnovo away, which will be an interesting match. As for the last round, Rabotnichki-Pelister 3:0, Teteks-Sileks 1-1, Napredok-Turnovo 0-1, Skopje-Vardar 1-0, Bregalnica-Metalurg 1-2 and Shkendija-Renova 4-1. Because of the heavy rains, Skopje-Vardar was played in aweful conditions. Here are a few pictures: Pictures tooken off from sport.com.mk |

why Vardar is so back behind .... funny stadium The stadium is the one in Avtokomanda, and you'd be surprised if I said it's one of the better football infrastructures in Macedonia. Both Vardar and Pelister are in big debts and don't have any sponsors, they've been fucked too much times by different presidents. But Vardar will probably avoid relegation, seeing the fact that Braco Vujchich(Rabotnichki's ex, Teteks' current and Vardar's future) sponsor. But he'll make a lot of cash through Vardar and leave them, just like he did last time. |

There has been talk about protests, but until Hari Hadzi Ristevski(Our current president of the football federation of Macedonia) is there, the protests will result in nothing. Mr Hadziristevski "survived attacks" from two different governments of the two most powerful political parties in Macedonia, and UEFA, even Plattini came to Macedonia to discuss about him. But seems like he's got UEFA's support after all. Because they could have took him off the presidental chair if they wanted by now. Currently Vardar's ultras fans(Komiti) are boycotting FC Vardar's matches because they lost 4-0 to a 2nd leaguer in the 1/4 finals of the Macedonian cup even tho they won 4-1 at home.(They lost 4-0 away) Several players have been said to have got money to lose and until the whole situations doesn't clear up they'll be boycotting FC Vardar's matches. They started going on HC(Handball club) Vardar's matches for now, home and away so they aren't 100% inactive. |

Thanks. Mainly this year will be generalized on Macedonian basketball, because the rising is currently there, and the best ultras are basketball ultras this year. I'll try and give you a more detailed analasys on the whole situation when I can and pictures of most of our crappy stadiums .(Pretty much only Phillp the II is good, its the main stadium of Skopje, where our NT and Vardar and Rabotnichki play) |
