H’W: First of all I would kindly ask you to introduce yourself.

I am from Guimarães, Portugal. My club is Vitoria. Since the late 90's I consider myself an ultra. But I follow the club since childhood, the 80's.

H’W: Can you tell us about your ultras group and what changes has undergone under the past years?

The first ultra groups in my club were created in the 80s. The first groups were "JUVI", "Fundadores", "Conquistadores", "Legião Vitoriana. However, none of these groups lasted for many years. The highlight in my club has always been the support of all fans.
But in 1994 the group "Insane Guys" was born, who are still active. In 1999 they founded another group, "White Angels".
Currently there are groups, which are "Insane Guys" and "White Angels", who are the major groups and also other small groups like: "Tifosi", "Gruppo 1922", "Vimaranes 1128", and others ...

H’W: How many fans gather at home games?

In our "house" we have an average of 20 000 spectators and some games even more. But today has been declining like in other stadiums in Portugal. This season we had an average of 14 000. Despite going to the Cup final (this Sunday to 17h) our club has been badly and for this reason some weaker supporters leave the club. Added to that the economic crisis is really bad in Portugal ...

H’W: At away games, how many fans travel with the team?

In away games, is set the same, but we did great invasions (5000, 6000, 7000 people) several times. The most striking was when we took 6,000 people to Sevilla in a Uefa Cup game. Depends on the games, its importance, the schedule, because we played many times on Friday and Monday. Often for these reasons we do not pass the 500 fans. We must not forget that we are a small city, we have nearly 150 000 people. The trips are made by bus, in some cases with car. But almost always the bus.

H’W: Do you have any friendly group in Portugal or somewhere else?

We just have a group with which there is friendship. "Fúria Azul" (Belenenses) since 2000. All our groups have friendships with them.

H’W: Is there any teams which are traditionally hated from you?

We have many rivals. The biggest rivalry is with the groups of Braga, it all started before the clubs were born. There was always rivalry between the cities of Braga and Guimarães, then switched to football. With the "Panteras Negras" of Boavista there is also rivalry which exists for many years. It is a classics for Portuguese football, unfortunately Boavista is now in the lower divisions. We have rivalry with the "Mancha Negra" of Académica, but in this case is a rivalry which is much smaller than the previous two. Benfica, Porto and Sporting also. And even more recently with the "Mafia Vermelha" of Leixões, if I may call it rivalry ...

H'W: What’s your relation with the police? Are the police strict in your country? What laws are there against Ultras in your country?

The relationship with the police is not good with all groups. Yes, they are very strict, I think the Portuguese police is one of the most strict in Europe. For serious, there are laws that hurt the ultras. The use of pyrotechnics (flares, etc ...) is not allowed. There is a law that encourages groups to legalize themselves. Only legal groups can take material to the stadiums. But it depends on the stadiums, some can get all the stuff (pyro…), others have a limit to the entry, and some will not let in anything that has the name of an illegal group. Our groups are not legal. We think that legalization is yielding to join the modern game. Proudly illegal.

H’W: Does your group come up with fights often, if yes, with who?

In Portugal, the clashes are rare. The police presence is strong and the movements are made by bus, with a police escort, which prevents the clashes. This happens with almost all the Portuguese groups. The fights are becoming rarer. Lately, the only game where there are clashes, it was here against Benfica. And all over the country few ones... with some exceptions.

H’W: What is the political view of your group?

In our groups we do not mix politics with football.

H'W: What kind of choreography does your group normally make, show us some pictures and explain?

None of our groups is distinguished by making fantastic choreography. Where we are distinguished by the vocal support, good lines and we follow always the club, in good and bad times.

H’W: The City can be something very special for a fan, what do you think of your city?

I am very proud of my city. That's where Portugal was born, the first capital of the country. In Guimarães there are also supporters of other clubs, but everyone knows that this is the city where most of the city supports my club. In the Portuguese context, Guimaraes is an exception. In other cities, almost all people are Benfica, Porto or Sporting (the 3 big ones, which have more titles). We are known for being the most faithful and passionate in Portugal.
Vitória, Guimarães and Portugal are my pride.

Coerência. E vê lá se deixas de denegrir a grupos portugueses nos fóruns estrangeiros, se fosse moderador já te tinha eliminado como fizeram e bem no fórum português.

Por isso meu amigo, eu falo do que sei, e vocês são os adeptos mais porcos que podem haver... Sim vocês do Vitória. E sei do que falo. Já me desloquei 2 vezes a Guimarães, uma para ver a bola e outra para ver o voleibol e digo-te mais... vocês passam mais tempo a insultar o adversário do que a apoiar o Vitória.
Na época em que fui a Guimarães, ver a bola, a imagem que me vem á cabeça é vidros de carros partidos e muito adepto inclusive vosso, assustado. Porquê? São uns animais.
No volei foi a coisa mais vergonhosa a que assisti e na altura nem andava dentro de uma claque do Benfica como ando agora e o que souberam fazer num pavilhão que está como o Jamor (podre) se souberam comportar... Perante na altura 10 ou 15 adeptos do Benfica que lá se encontravam, que nem direito a uma bancada para nós tivemos, tivemos de fica no vosso meio, vocês começaram a desbaratar e a mandar a malta embora, quando alguns dos adeptos eram cotas com 60 anos ou crianças com 11 anos. Vocês são os maiores porcos do Futebol Português e não me dá maior gozo ver o vosso rival sempre a enrabarvos... volto aqui a dizer, Fuck Vitória....

Outra coisa meu amigo, isto aqui é um forum decente, não é um forum de meninas como esse que falaste, Português. Aqui existe liberdade de expressão, no outro existia, as meninas

Mostras que não passas de um gajo incoerente, falas como se essas situações não se passassem em todos os estádios portugueses e no estrangeiro igual... a partir do momento que disseste que só vieste duas vezes a Guimarães, miúdo até te dou um desconto, talvez daqui a uns anos aprendas que neste mundo há de tudo. Existem aqueles que tentam uma luta limpa, os que usam armas. É em todo o lado. Ou será que com os teus é diferente?

Em quantos estádios já se viu os adeptos do Guimarães a fazer merda? Eu não disse que são os únicos, mas são os maiores animais do futebol Português. Até em coimbra quando passaram á final da taça de Portugal, em vez de festejarem não... partiram cadeiras apedrejaram carros. Armaram confusão cá fora... Num jogo que deveria ser de festa para vós, mostraram novamente que são uns animais...
Mas não vou discutir isso contigo... Está dada a minha opinião e está dada a tua...

Ainda num passado próximo tiveste os mesmos tipos de problemas, curiosamente no estádio do clube que gostas de ver enrabar o vitória...A diferença é que vocês não ganharam...
Está na hora veres mais alguma coisa há frente sem ser benfica...

Quem arranjou os problemas em Braga? Tiveste lá? Quem foram os primeiros a vir meter nojo? Os adeptos do braga mal saiu a malta dos comboios e dos autocarros. No fim do jogo vieram os filhos da puta (A.C.A.B). Nada foi provocado por nós. Tanto que se vires os videos que estão na net vês os seguranças a atirarem cadeiras aos adeptos do Benfica.
