Jorge Gibson Brown is a small club with few fans from my city (Posadas), and Sarmiento, from Resistencia (320 kilometers from Posadas), is a small club also but has several thousand fans.
In the stadium there were about 700 fans of the home team (mostly families) and it barra brava (about 30 persons) was absent because has prohibited from entering, while of the visitor team were about 300 fans, of which 200 were of the barra brava.

The match was for the quarter-finals of the Torneo Argentino C 2011.

In the first leg Sarmiento won 2 - 1 at it stadium, and this time the home team (Jorge Gibson Brown) was winning 2 - 0, thereby qualify for the next round of the tournament (semifinals). In the first minute of injury time of the second half, the home team make their second change and the player who had to leave the field made it slowly, so the players of Sarmiento were to push him and so began the fight between players, coaches and aides of both teams.

Seeing this, the fans of Sarmiento began to cause riots. They attacked the police, threw stones at journalists and home fans (who responded in the same way) and some entered to the pitch to attack the players of Jorge Gibson Brown (some of which had to climb a wall to be safe). Some fans of the home team also entered to the pitch to fight, but were few.

Besides all that, barrabravas of Sarmiento also entered to the stadium facilities, stole boots and balls and caused damage.

After this, the police cracked down fans of Sarmiento in the stadium and around. The balance was 150 fans of Sarmiento arrested.
